Small, high beam quality, reliability of low repetition rate and high-power pulse solid- state picosecond lasers are becoming popular in remote high-precision satellite ranging system field. The kHz picosecond laser of ranging is the most complicated solid-state laser. It includes picosecond passively mode-locked oscillator,regenerative amplifier, power amplification, frequency conversion device, which involving passively mode-locked, regenerative amplification, desigh of high-speed electro-optic switch, high extinction ratio isolation components. It also require high reliability og power driver and control system.
